How to complain

Email hello@trivet.digital, use "Contact us" in the app, or write to us at our registered office. Say what went wrong and what you would like us to do. If it is about your personal information, say so.

What happens next

• We acknowledge your complaint, aiming to within 2 working days. For a complaint about personal information, the law requires us to acknowledge it within 30 days.
• One of our directors looks into it. If it is about something they did, another director does.
• We reply in writing with what we found and what we will do. For a data protection complaint we do this without undue delay, and tell you how it is going if it takes longer than a month.
• If you are not happy with our answer, tell us and a director who hasn’t been involved will review it.

If you are still unhappy

For a complaint about personal information, you can go to the data protection regulator, the Information Commission (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. It usually expects you to have complained to us first.

If your complaint is about information your organisation recorded in the app, such as a driving licence check, the organisation is responsible for it. We will pass your complaint on and tell you we have.
